Penny Lane Video specializes in highest quality, flicker free Cine film to DVD transfers for clients throughout the UK. We can also convert Cine film to various digital formats including Avi and Mini DV.

We use only the latest transfer units without bulbs. Bulbs give uneven and usually dark lighting resulting in loss of quality. Our high quality transfer equipment will provide you only the very best bright and evenly lit, flicker free conversion of your precious Cine films. Nobody can do it better.

Cine / film conversion / transfer prices
  • Super 8 or Standard 8 film is charged at the rate of £20 per 400 ft spool.
  • 50ft spools do attract a handling charge of £1 per spool.
  • Footage is charged Prorata, you will need to additionaly add the Delivery Media cost as below.
Delivery media prices
  • Onto VHS tape at £20 for up to 3hrs
  • Onto MiniDV tapes provided by us £10.00 per hour.
  • Onto a Play Only DVD which is editable & copyable £16.66 for up to 2000ft.
  • AS AVI computer files the cost is usually an Additional £25 on top of the DVD price. You will need to provide Hard rive, Memory card etc.
Optional services
  • DVD menu creation £20.00
    • We create a menu so that when the DVD is inserted in the player it has menu options to go to each individual spool of film.
  • Additional DVD copies are just £5 each.
  • Gift Voucher available on request from £30.
All prices exclude VAT and delivery.
Adding music to your converted films
A few people have asked about Music as some other sites are offering this service. We do not add a music background as this is AGAINST copyright law when using shop bought Cd’s etc. The only music legally allowed in the background of your films is Copyright free, public domain music, by its very nature these are not popular tunes.
